Brad Perrigo, founder and Chief Executive Officer Brandsmart International,
is a professional marketing executive with over 25 years of
domestic and international marketing experience. His background
includes sports marketing & sponsorship, CPG marketing,
market research and analysis, strategic planning, promotions,
licensing, domestic and international contract negotiations,
product sourcing, e-commerce development, and special events.
Perrigo has worked on the sports property and agency side of the
sports marketing industry for many years. Working with clients
such as Coca-Cola, Exide Batteries, Future Electronics, General
Motors, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Hamms Brewing Company,
Kingsford Charcoal, Kraft General Foods, Jack Daniel’s, InterContinental
Hotels Group, Lowes Home Improvement, Mattel, Meijer Foods, Miller
Brewing Company, M&M Mars, Napa Auto Parts, Pepsi Cola, Philip
Morris, Pizza Hut, Tombstone Pizza, and Yamaha, Perrigo has designed
and negotiated several successful sponsorship programs and special
events. His agency success in strategic planning, property evaluation
and contract negotiations is outstanding. His accomplishments include
the property acquisition and contract negotiations for Miller Brewing
Company’s record setting sponsorships of the Arizona Diamondbacks & Colorado
Avalanche. Additionally, Perrigo engineered numerous other successful
deals with several major sports properties including the Kansas
City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles
Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco Giants,
San Jose Sharks, and Seattle Seahawks.
Perrigo has significant corporate experience, having managed Miller
Brewing Company’s sports marketing department for several
years. While there, Perrigo oversaw all of Miller’s Motorsports
investments including those in NASCAR with Penske Racing and Rusty
Wallace, NHRA Top Fuel with Don "the Snake" Prudhomme
and Larry Dixon, and IRL’s Rahal Letterman Racing and Bobby
Rahal. Perrigo also oversaw Miller’s involvement in the PGA’s
Greater Milwaukee Open (GMO), as well as local marketing activities
in support of their investments with NFL Super Bowls and NBA All-Star
Games.
Later, Perrigo served as Vice President of Marketing & Licensing
for the Mattel Hot Wheels brand, overseeing its global business,
including all marketing & licensing initiatives, along with
all overseas product manufacturing.
Perrigo, an honors graduate and four-year letter winner in football
from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, currently resides in
Mooresville, NC, with his wife and two children.
